Bio
Kenya Harris is a Political Science and African American studies double major, with a minor in public policy on the prelaw track at The University of Alabama. Harris has also acquired much experience in the field of law advocacy and lobbying though interning at the Tuscaloosa Federal Court House with Chief Judge L. Scott Coogler and campaigning for State Senator Dickie Drake. She is involved in student organizations at UA like the SGA S.A.F.E center committee and the Women and Gender Resource Center’s mentorship program. She also holds officer positions as the president of Triota, the Public relations chair of BLEND. She is currently the President of her internship class here, with Chris Reid Law firm, and she is working on several projects at The University of Alabama focused on archival work and civil disobedience to help boost minority students’ civic engagement on campus.
